Victoria Culbert of LeBoldus won all four of her events at the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association track and field championships.
Victoria Culbert of LeBoldus dominated the junior girls division at the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association track and field championships, which concluded Saturday at the Canada Games Athletics Complex.
Culbert led the junior girls aggregate standings with 72 points the highest possible total.She won the 80-metre hurdles, 100m and 200m sprints, and the long jump.
Jon Podbielski of Campbell and Isaiah Mamer of Wilkie were tied for the lead in the senior boys standings, with 54 points apiece.
The other aggregate winners were Carter Tuplin of Swift Current (intermediate boys), Stryker Zablocki of Prince Albert Carlton (intermediate girls), Michael Tetrault of Saskatoon Marion Graham (junior boys) and Shelaine Pritchard of Prince Albert St. Mary (senior girls).
Kaidyn Keith of Riffel (senior girls) and Eve Ouellet of Laval (junior girls) posted third-place finishes in their respective divisions.Saskatoon won the district title with 1,876.5 points. Regina was second at 1,398.5.VALKYRIES VICTORIOUS.
The Regina Riot completed its regular season Saturday with a 33-14 loss to the Saskatoon Valkyries at Mosaic Stadium.
The Riot (1-3) is to play the host Manitoba Fearless on June 11 in Winnipeg in a Western Women’s Canadian Football League semi-final.

In the other semi-final, the undefeated Valkyries will play host to the Winnipeg Wolfpack.Kasey McCombs starred for the Riot in its regular-season finale, rushing 24 times for 233 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown.

Tejean Smith led the 57’s on Friday by going 4-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base.
Winning pitcher Izaiah Ayala allowed only three hits over eight innings, without surrendering a run.On Saturday, Swift Current’s Thomas Collins was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Zane Zielinski, Nate Bach and Max Lecroy each had two hits for Regina, which carried a 3-3 record into Monday night’s home game against the Moose Jaw Miller Express.
